Cathy’s Weekly Wellness Diary
Don’t forget to bag up a small amount to wear around your neck this October month to keep the Vampires away!
This week of Halloween, we will focus on the plant that protects us from Vampires! And while this is a myth, the truths of garlic are greater! This delicious plant lowers blood pressure and assists in reducing plaques build up in your arteries. It has antibiotic effect, also fights bacteria , and is just plain wonderful to taste! You can cook it in your food, steep it as a tea or take it in a capsule @ 1000 mg capsule usually 1 per day.

Put a clove of garlic on your windowsills. This miracle plant is a health promoter. The act of crushing a fresh clove releases the active sulfuric ingredient called allicin. There are studies that show it may be helpful in cancer. And…there is a rumor, that garlic may increase libido.
However, make sure your partner eats it too. Bad breath is a side effect. Don’t use garlic while nursing or if you are on blood thinners or oral hypoglycemics.
